would you believe I saw anchored south of the rail road bridge and north of the power plant I guess to be a trawler/netter boat last night what would that be doing in the hackensack river. and anchored up at night around 9PM

I was told by the USGAAUX  that it is a troller but doing testing in the river and that they do it every year,  but its the first I ever seen it, have you been out lately,  I had so much work I almost forgot where the hacky is located

Same here. I didnt get started until late spring. The river reports were bad so the few times I could get out I went to Raritan Bay. By the time I got out there the action was pretty much done. I managed a few short bass here and there and some blues. Im not much into fluken so I guess I am out of business for the next month or so.......
